From time to time I love to lock myself in a room and create cards for no reason at all, just because I can.
I started off wanting to make a few cards just for my own indulgence, exclusive to me,
something no-one else has got. After my work was done and my cards were made, I just couldn't help but share them with you all.
I always start off with an idea in my head of what I wanted and this collection came about from the colours I was wearing that day, a pair of red trousers and a pair of tan coloured brogues!...
Here she is wrapped up all pretty waiting for all those creative people to get crafting.

I loved making these two cards, incorporating on this one my punches to create the background on the front of the card. Cutting out a scalloped circle and sticking flowers all over it, again cut from one of the papers, shaped with an embossing tool, very simple but beautiful. Of course also not forgetting the inside of your cards, I would normally pop in a piece of white paper to enable me to write on, I have kept this out to enable you to see the prettiness of the papers :)

The next card I made has a very elegant feel to it and works beautifully with the lighter toned paper, indulging in the hit of colour on the inside of the card. I especially love the paper
flower, also included in the kit and how it houses the paper roses that so many of
us love to use. As I'm looking at it now, I think using clear embossing powder or a this glaze on the flower would look lovely.
