Back from NEC

I have to apologise for my lack of blogging recently and promise to keep this little Fairy Dust bag corner of the web MORE updated!!
I had a brilliant time at the NEC, I was holding demonstrations for Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine and as always had a blast and would like to thank everyone who came and participated in the classes, I hope you all went away feeling inspired-I know I did.
I met some lovely ladies, some new and some FB/Blogging friends, i
t does make your day extra special when someone takes the time out to come and say hello so thank you ladies.

It's always a looooong journey back home and didn't help that the air conditioning wasn't working on the train, it was SO HOT, everybody was complaining. I was too concerned about a couple who had brought their little dog on board and they kept having to get off to let it get some fresh air on each train stop. When they eventually did get off I could relax and start to complain myself, the poor manager on the train, ran out of bottled water (think the dog got most of that) and tried to accommodate everyone into different carriages. We eventually got home around 10pm ish to a nice spicy curry and when my head did
eventually hit my own pillow I was there a while!

This time I did get some time in between classes to take a look around and came back inspired and ready to work. This is one of our new digi images at Willow Designs "Busy in the garden", I have to say I adore this new image and perfect for this nice weather we seem to all be having at the moment!
Although it's really lovely and sunny outside, my office is on the dullest side of the street and I'm disappointed with the lighting on this photo.

My work for the day is almost done, I'm heading into Newcastle for some dinner, enjoy your weekend everyone, hope it's a crafty one.xxx

Cool Meadows Paper Collection

I seem to be on a creative binge at the moment, I love that, do you? The beginning of last week I hit the blank white page of doom, a nightmare for a designer, I couldn't draw anything I was happy with and seemed to be trying that little too hard to get things right.
A week later it's a different matter, I'm playing with a new graphics programme and seems to have given me the creative drive needed to actually complete something! :)

I love these paper collections, if you are looking for something a little different and something unique you will adore it. I think they are too nice to cover them up with a coloured image, I prefer to enhance with a few pretty flowers and ribbons.

She is called Cool Meadows and you can get here from Willow Designs

Have fun!
